How I Work
Men often come to therapy carrying pressure, irritability, stress, or a sense of being stuck in patterns they can’t quite name. My approach is grounded, relational, and depth‑oriented — focused on understanding the emotional logic behind your struggles, not just managing symptoms.
This is therapy for men in Ann Arbor that helps you make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, build emotional steadiness, and move through life with more clarity and direction.
Treatment Approach
I offer a steady, supportive space where you can explore past experiences, understand long‑standing patterns, and develop a more grounded relationship with yourself. My work is not about quick fixes — it’s about lasting change rooted in insight, honesty, and psychological depth.
Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
Explores unconscious processes, early experiences, and relational patterns that shape how you cope, connect, and protect yourself. This is the core of my work with men.
Jungian‑Informed Depth Work
Uses archetypes, dreams, and symbolic material to understand deeper layers of identity, meaning, and emotional life.
Mindfulness‑Based Approaches
Supports present‑moment awareness, emotional regulation, and the ability to respond rather than react under pressure.
Issues I Work With
Many men come to therapy navigating stress, anger, grief, relationship challenges, or feeling stuck in patterns they can’t quite name. These are some of the most common concerns I work with—but they’re not the whole story. Every man’s experience is unique, and therapy here isn’t about fitting into a checklist. It’s about showing up as you are, sorting through what’s weighing on you, and finding tools that actually work for your life. Whether your struggles are familiar or hard to put into words, you’re welcome here.
